My Love of Cats: "Cat Therapy"

Pets are wonderful therapy ... they bring comfort when there is pain, peace and calm when things feel too chaotic, and much needed laughter when life feels far from humorous. I have always loved animals, particularly the feline variety. I have three cats, and they are without a doubt, my "children." They are highly independent, full of life and energy, agile and graceful, and of course, call all the shots! They bring so much love, beauty and joy into my life ... and their many purrsonalities and "cat escapades" are too hilarious and precious not to be shared with anyone who holds a special place in their heart for our furry friends ... My hope is that by sharing these "kitty tales," their "escapades" may bring a little light and a few laughs to someone's day!

Please take a moment to meet my three furry children!

Welcome! Meet My Kitty Purrsonalities!

I would like to introduce my three feline children: MollyMay, Gus and Oliver. My "fur children," whom I also called my "furlines," are the focus of this blog/webpage. They may be seen in various stories and pictures throughout this blog, in addition to their very own "kitty totem pole" pen and ink drawing. An introduction to my kitty'spurrsonalities may be viewed below. I hope you take a few moments to read about the "stars" of this blog!

My three cat children love to play, and always manage to generate laughter with their daily antics. They are intelligent, graceful, independent, affectionate, and without any shadow of a doubt, a wonderful part of our family! With so many wonderful characteristics - and a few less then lovely habits - my kitties provide two essential therapeutic additions to my life: Laughter and unconditional love. Please take a moment or two and allow their "cat tales" to bring a little humor and joy to your day as well. They are sure to leave a paw print on your heart!!! ...

*Also included in this blog: Examples of artwork by both myself, Brenna, as well as pieces by my mother, Linda. We both offer several different artwork pieces and designs, with our main inspiration and focus being that of the feline purrsuasion. Our pieces are unique, and upon request may be specified and created to that of your furry friend's purrsonality and appearance. I, myself, offer drawings created in pen and ink, in addition to "MultiMedia Memories Presentations," which consist of photography, animation, music, artwork, designs, audio and video clips. Linda offers paintings of your feline buddies (and dogs) on a wide array of "canvases." These pieces may be personalized. "Canvas" examples include everything from tiles and pottery, to wall murals. Please contact Brenna for further details and information.

MR. GUS

Mr. Gus
Oliver (short hair tabby) and Gus (long hair) are our big boys. They are also littermates, and while they were once very close, both fell desperately in love with Molly, resulting in an ongoing competition for her kitty affections. It is not unusual to find one of the boys slowly but surely sneaking up on Molly while she sleeps ... Their hope: To finagle in as close as possible with the intention of a good cuddle session!

Molly (black "torti") is my eldest kitty and only girl cat. And to be quite frank, there is no room for another female feline energy in the bunch. She is thee Queen, of well, everything and everybody, and without any doubt, rules the roost!
